“Run as administrator” the install file “DraftsBox_Setup.exe”, and continue carefully the indicated steps during the installation. You can read more about how to install the plugin in our detailed install guide here.
Try to load DraftsBox menu manually with the AutoCAD command "menuload". Then search and select the "*.cuix" file inside DraftsBox path folder. If you don't have the menu file installed, you can download it from the Download page section.
Be sure that all "*.lsp" and "*.vlx" files are loaded correctly and that you have installed the OpenDCL Runtimecomponent. You can load the files manually with the AutoCAD command "Appload" or in Tools -> Load Application. Also check that you have added DraftsBox support path in Tools -> Options -> Files tab.
Be sure that you have installed the DraftsBox Quick Guide Help PDF file in the path folder and in the correct language. Also you can download it from the Download page section.
If you have installed AutoCAD in one language different than English, Spanish, Deutsch, French, Portuguese, Italian, Russian or Simplified Chinese, we recommend you to install DraftsBox in english language (the language by default).
It's highly recommended install the OpenDCL Runtime component in the same or higher version. If not do that, DraftsBox will can't be execute correctly.
You can access directly to the secondary pop-up menu tools typing the according numeric command for that menu; "77" for InsertBox, "88" for DrawBox, "99" for PropertiesBox, etc. Read the Quick Guide Help file for more information.
DraftBox plugin has been tested only under AutoCAD 2010 to 2020 versions and in Windows operating system. If you choose install and run it under a lower version of AutoCAD some commands and tools will not be available.
